Terms of Service
Effective date: 14 July 2026 · Last updated: 14 July 2026
Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of this website and, following public launch on 24 July 2026, the CEASER product and Desktop Companion (together, the "Service"), provided by CEASER ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an institution or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that institution to these Terms.
Launch Access
CEASER product access, Console availability, pricing, and account capabilities are provided according to the access level available to your account. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access on a specific date, feature availability, or pricing, and does not create any obligation on our part beyond what is described in these Terms.
Accounts
When account creation becomes available at launch, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to protected areas of the Service, including product, console, or administrative routes prior to their public availability
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Misrepresent your identity, student status, or institutional affiliation
- Use the Service to build a competing product without authorization
Student Program
The CEASER Student Program offers 50% off CEASER Pro to verified students. Verification may be completed using a valid institutional email address or valid student identification, subject to review. Student pricing is intended for active students at recognized educational institutions. We may request re-verification and may suspend student pricing if eligibility can no longer be confirmed.
Academic Partnerships
Educational institutions may collaborate with CEASER as academic distribution and innovation partners. Under an Academic Partnership, students pay CEASER directly and receive verified educational pricing; the institution is not required to collect or transfer student subscription payments. Institutional licensing, including centralized access and billing, is a separate arrangement that may be offered in the future and is not part of an Academic Partnership.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, branding, and underlying technology, is owned by CEASER and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to CEASER's trademarks, logos, or brand assets except as necessary to use the Service as intended.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." CEASER is designed to support your work, but outputs may be incomplete or require review. We do not claim fully autonomous workflows, enterprise deployment, official campus partnerships, unlimited AI usage, or support for every desktop application. Capabilities described as "planned for future versions" are not part of the current or V1 release.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CEASER will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
Changes to the Service
We may modify, suspend, or update features of the Service as CEASER evolves. We will aim to communicate material changes affecting access, billing, or the Student Program in advance where practical.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users or to CEASER.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction in which CEASER operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
